GUIDING LIGHT DIAMOND AWARD

Debra Antney is a powerhouse mogul, mentor, mother, and philanthropist—embodying the resilience and grace women aspire to. As CEO of Atlanta-based Mizay Entertainment, founded in 2007, she has risen as one of the most respected figures in the male-dominated music industry, earning a reputation as a fearless visionary and “pit bull in a skirt.” A trailblazer in Hip-Hop, she helped break barriers for women in music while shaping artists into global superstars.

Raised in Jamaica, Queens, Antney’s tough yet loving upbringing fueled her entrepreneurial spirit from childhood. A single mother of five, she worked tirelessly, eventually relocating to Georgia and working in community services before stepping into music management.
