With a dynamic and accomplished career spanning executive leadership, real estate development, public administration, and federal service, I bring over three decades of expertise in affordable housing, asset management, and strategic operations. My executive journey began as Vice President, Risk Asset Manager at Bank of America Community Development Banking, where I oversaw investments in low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) and historic tax credit projects. This foundation led to success in real estate development and asset/property management with a boutique investment firm, where I directed multifamily developments utilizing LIHTC and historic tax credits.Â
Driven by a commitment to community development, I founded a consulting firm to support public housing authorities transitioning through HUD’s Rental Assistance
Demonstration (RAD) program. My expertise in RAD led to a pivotal role at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), serving as a Public and Indian Housing Director and later being detailed to Washington, D.C., to assist in processing RAD applications nationwide. I have held key leadership roles within HUD, including Field Office Director and Deputy Regional Administrator for Region 4, the Department’s largest region, overseeing 11 field offices and the regional office. I managed a diverse team of public affairs officers, field office directors, and analysts. In this capacity, I directed strategic initiatives and ensured operational excellence across multiple jurisdictions. As part of the Stakeholder Relations Team at HUD headquarters, I managed complex interdepartmental communications, including Departmental Clearances, FOIA requests, Congressional inquiries, and Executive Secretariat correspondence. My most previous role as Director of Administrative Services included broad
responsibilities such as serving as the Authorizing Official for Government Purchase Cards, Privacy Officer, leading critical support service functions, and ensuring efficient administrative operations across all field offices. I also held the position of Acting HR Director for the Office of Field Policy and Management (FPM). Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated strategic vision, operational leadership, and a deep commitment to advancing affordable housing and public service outcomes. U. S.
